The objectives are: recommend planning tools for systems infrastructure characterized by high variability and uncertainty levels; suggest new auxiliary service schemes either for frequency and voltage regulation as well as for the massive integration of storage systems; recommend suitable market designs to fit with different scale levels, and recommend public policies that boost the energy exchange in South America.
